Day 1: Ouarzazate → Todra Gorges → Merzouga → Camel Trek
Overnight: Luxury Desert Camp
Your 2 Days Desert Tour from Ouarzazate to Fes begins with an early pickup from your accommodation in Ouarzazate. Travel east through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco toward the impressive Todra Gorges.
Arrive at the gorge and take time to walk between the towering red cliffs carved by the Todra River. Enjoy the dramatic scenery and peaceful atmosphere before continuing through the surrounding valleys.
Continue toward Merzouga, passing palm groves and desert landscapes along the way. Stop for lunch before reaching the Sahara in the afternoon.
Once you arrive near the dunes, leave the vehicle and begin your camel trek across the golden sands. Ride toward the desert camp and stop on a high dune to watch the spectacular sunset over the Sahara.
Continue to your luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and an evening around the campfire beneath the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Ziz Valley → Cedar Forest → Ifrane → Fes
Wake up early to watch the Sahara sunrise over the dunes. Return to the camp for breakfast before heading back toward Merzouga by camel or 4×4.
Continue to Rissani, the historic capital of the Tafilalet region. Explore the traditional souk and discover the lively atmosphere of one of southern Morocco’s important trading towns.
Continue to Erfoud, famous for its fossils and fossilized marble workshops. Visit a local workshop to see how fossil-rich stone is transformed into decorative pieces.
Drive through the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping at a panoramic viewpoint to admire the palm-filled valley and surrounding landscapes.
Continue toward Midelt for a lunch break before heading north through the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Stop at the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques, and enjoy some time walking among the cedar trees.
Continue to Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, cool climate, and beautiful mountain setting.
Finally, continue toward Fes, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport.
